As I’ve got a little spare time at the moment, I decided to get back to Fallout 3 and get the DLC finished off.
Broken Steel is the first DLC to take place after the ending of Fallout 3, so your end of game morality choices actually make a difference. Another key thing is does is lifts the level cap from 20 to 30, including new perks.
It’s going to be very hard to review this game without spoliers, as it’s a continuation of the story arc once the main game is complete, so storyline wise….I’ll leave it there. I can however state that there are 3 main missions, all with their own achievement/trophy. There are a handful of new enemies… some real pain in the arse ones, however once you’ve got their gear….not so hard 🙂
The DLC took me around 6 hours to beat, which I’m not sure if it was the random glitches, the lack of interesting storyline, or the fact that I’ve had this on rental for nearly 2 months, but 6 hours felt like a lifetime.
All it all, it was ok, nice to see what my end of game decision did to the universe, however wasn’t a patch on ‘The Pitt‘ DLC
Approx Time taken to beat – 6 hours
Difficulty setting – Normal
Score – [Rating:3/5]
